Cress letters
Grow your own initials in cress and then eat them!
For this project you will need:
plastic tray (re-use some packaging)
cress seeds
kitchen towel or compost (soil)
spray water bottle
Sow it, Grow it projects

Place layers of kitchen towel or a thin layer of compost in the tray. Spray with water so that it is damp, not wet.

Carefully sprinkle the seeds, a few at a time, in the shape of your initials. The bigger you do it, the easier it will be.

Keep the towel or compost damp by spraying gently with water.

It won't take long for your initials to appear in cress.

Add the tasty cress to your salads or sandwiches.
