How to plant a tree
If you are thinking about planting a tree from a container, here is a video to give you a few tips. Why not plant an apple tree, we like the ‘Diva variety’ that we gave away in our recent competition. It will produce between 30-40 apples within the first year of planting.

Our Gold Medal-winning Edible Playgrounds
The British Olympic team weren't the only ones to take home the medals this summer. We created special showcase Edible Playgrounds for two RHS Flower Shows, and were thrilled with their reception. The first was at Chelsea Flower Show, and we were extremely excited to take Gold in the Courtyard Garden category. But we didn't stop there...
At Chelsea, people loved the cress heads we put in the garden, so we gave out packets of cress seeds to everyone who came to see us at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. They really are a lot of fun...

For the second show, the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, we created a much bigger garden, brimming with beautiful and tasty plants and full of environmental features such as a windmill and a wormery – and we won Gold again, as well as the Best Show Garden award!
